Default 3d acceleration problems slackware 11

I installed most recent drivers , but they did not solved the problem , followed the readme , changed nv to nvidia , but cedega says i do not have 3d acc , in kinfo center under open gl , when i open 3d accelerator , it says unknown , also kernel module unknown , open gl works fine , i have 2.4.33 kernel , before these drivers i had download the drivers in november , worked the same , thought updating would solve it but no , have fx 5200.

I don't see anything wrong in your bug report. Cedega determines whether you have 3D acceleration based on the frames per second results from running glxgears. Assuming that glxgears runs ok on your system, you should probably contact Cedega/Transgaming on how to resolve this problem.

Thanks,
Lonni

Cedega's 3d acceleration tests do not work properly. I did some delving into the Python code used by the Cedega GUI, and found the faulty code, after a bit of a search on the Cedega forums. I'll see if I can find the post....

In this particular test, it runs glxgears, and if the FPS returned is less than 800, it marks the test as failed.

when i run glxgears i get
Code:
fade@darkstar:~$ glxgears
3542 frames in 5.0 seconds = 708.345 FPS
3672 frames in 5.0 seconds = 734.087 FPS
3708 frames in 5.0 seconds = 741.545 FPS
3765 frames in 5.0 seconds = 752.999 FPS
3749 frames in 5.0 seconds = 749.708 FPS
guess i will have to find another way , but why does my card work on agp1x ? tried nvagp but it goes into pci mode , only with agprt it goes agp1x ,why ?

eh changed res to 640x480 and test show me ~850 fps , but in the second test , so it wont fool cedega that runs test for ~2 secs ,and says FAILED
