Default [9631] [6600GT] Strange things in the distance

I updated yesterday the driver from a 8*** version to the 9631, and I see a minor bug in Enemy Territory: at some distance, the textures are bright in a small strip. For example, in the battery map, when I am in the Ally’s first respawn point, the bright strip appears on the left after the cannon (on the left ramp approximately). Also, I see strange pixellation in the sky and in the background sky in the menu.
Anyway, it does not forbid me to play.

As you see, there are three kinds of strange lines: the first straight one on the ground, the second straight one in the sky and a third one in the sky again, but pixellated and curved.

Rig:
N 6600 GT with 1.0.9631
Debian Etch
Linux metrocles 2.6.16-2-686-smp #1 SMP Fri Aug 18 19:25:21 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

I have the same card (from LeadTek) and exactly the same artefacts in Enemy Territory.

I must mention that these problems only appeared with 9XXX drivers series.

May be some OpenGL evolution not back compatible with Enemy Territory ?

I use Mandriva 2006 (Kernel 2.6.12).

Finally, I tested the last beta driver (9742) and the previous problem is now solved.
