Default dual monitor setup

I've got a dual monitor setup which works pretty well. For games and what not though, I'd like the ability to just have 1 display operating to maximise performance. The problem is that while I've been able to have a single monitor operating in a game, i can move my mouse to the right and the other half of the virtual desktop will show. Is there a way to disable scrolling in a virtual desktop? Here is my xorg.conf:
