Problems installing the latest 9746 drivers
Every time I try to install the new drivers from Nvidia I get an error message saying that the installer couldn't find the right Kernel source files to compile the file it needs:
Unable to find the kernel source tree for the currently running kernel.
Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your
kernel and that they are properly configured; on Red Hat Linux systems,
for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' or 'kernel-devel' RPM
installed. If you know the correct kernel source files are installed,
you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path'
command line option.
Now I'm running Fedora 6 (with a GeForce 6600) so I went to add remove programs and installed the 'Kernel-devel' package, but still nothing.
Any help at all would be great.

Re: Problems installing the latest 9746 drivers
Please attach the complete nvidia-installer.log file (see http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46678); in general, this error is reported when the host system does not have the kernel development files for the running kernel installed. Please make sure that you have the kernel-devel (or kernel-smp-devel) package installed and that it matches the running kernel exactly (i.e. both version and configuration).
