Default 7950 gt linux problems

i got a video card problem, i just purchased a bfg 7950gt oc, i just got the latest drivers from nvidia and the card works on the system, but when i go to play enemy-territory it freezes after a bit of playing everytime. I think it would be the drivers because i changed the heatsink and its running very cool at the highest point it runs is 47c. what could be the problem and how could i fix it?

Fedora Core 6 32bit
AMD 3800+ X2
2048mb pc3200
120GB HDD
BFG 7950GT OC 512MB

Default Re: 7950 gt linux problems

it seems that i have managed to get it working. i overclocked the card to 600mhz and memory to 1500, it has worked flawlessly so far, of course i have a better cooling than original, it has a zalman all copper.
