Compiz & 2 X Sessions (:0 and :1) Problem
Attached is my bug report log file (with compositing stuff turned off)..
At the time, the commented lines in my xorg.conf were un-commented, and I did the following:
I was running the latest stable Compiz 0.2.2 with the following parameters:
__GL_YIELD="NOTHING" compiz --replace --indirect-rendering --use-cow gconf &
Launched this up on two X sessions simultaneously (:0 (F7) and :1 (F8)) with compiz loading up via GNOME's session manager with a sh script with the above command inserted into it.
Sometimes, switching between them or to the terminal functioned properly, but about 1/4th of the time, my LCD will just turn off and I can't get video back at all. I've tried the magic sysrq to kill X, etc... which all was not working. I have to end up doing magic sysrq s-u-s-u-b to reboot with my mounts synced..
This problem has been a pain in my side since nVidia first released drivers with support for the new extension.. Is there any way to get this not to kill my screen when I switch around using 2 sessions?
