Nvidia 7100GS weirdness

Hi,

trying to get my brand new MSI NX7100GS-TD128E to work under linux

so I took out my old 6600LE (dual head working)

I put the 7100 in, adjust the settings (BusId)
I get one monitor working not the other

I'm using Xorg 7.1.1, nvidia-drivers 1.0.8774 on gentoo
I upgrade to nvidia-drivers 1.0.9746
now I can even get one monitor working

when I startx I get

I noticed something

but this video card has 128mb ?!?!?

you can see that it says it has 128mb on board , but "Up to 512mb" ?!?!
this is very weird, it's not like it has expansion slots !
maybe it's using system memory .. but then free says all the ram is accounted for

I suspect the problem was introduced with the update from 1.0-8776 to 1.0-9746, rather than with the graphics card upgrade. More specifically, I suspect the wrong libnvidia-tls.so library was installed (or is being picked up); how did you install the driver, using the .run installer or `emerge`? The amount of memory available to the GPU as reported by the X driver includes system memory on TurboCache GPUs.

i use the same graka.
its an MSI NX7100GS.
this card works fine, but Xorg cant find the right device??

if i do lspci, my system only find this:
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Unknown device 016a (rev a1)

if i read the device lost to configure it in the xorg.conf file,
i dont find anything to configure it.
there is no board type.

my system is gentoo and i uses the x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746

I'm afraid that I don't see any problems in your bug report. X is running. What is the problem you're experiencing and how can it be reproduced?
