Running that command and reviewing the X log will show you all the available modes. Barring that you need to generate a custom modeline.

Ahh. I will try that. Thanks a lot! But what if X says that the mode I want isn't "available". (I know it is, because windoze runs fine on that mode). But when I looked through /etc/X11/xorg.conf, It didn't have the exact mode that I wanted.

Just a warning, CRT monitors can fry if you push refresh rates too high. I suggest looking in the X log, usually /var/log/Xorg.0.log, to see why the screen mode is rejected. The nvidia driver usually does a good job detecting and picking the best for your setup.
