The bottom line is that a fiber optic type network will be needed to supply the necessary bandwidth to support IPTV. Fiber networks are still not widely available and services like Verizon's FIOS still are not delivering the promised 45mps symmetrical bandwidth that they alluded to a few years ago. Hopefully by the time IPTV for ther 360 is ready to launch fiber optic connectivity will be more widely available (I won't hold my breath).

I always thought that IPTV would have been a case of using MS pts to buy episodes..... end of story. But with all this talk of having to get a provider and all that crap, I can see you needing a BT line, which I aint getting. Not a chance in hell.

They are making it very hard for people to consider using more legitimate methods of watching new TV shows on the Continent.

Apart from the stupidly high number of adverts, your very lucky to have the TV you do in the States.

basically the only thing you would need is the larger hdd to record shows and use your 360 as a dvr

btw, you can record and game simultaneously
