Upgrade FC without affecting Solaris and Windows

I have got 3 OSs on my Laptop (Solaris 10, 2003, FC5), snice FC rapidly upgrades from one version to another. The latest version always has got a lot of enhancements than previous one.

Can I upgrade (reinstall latest version) FC on my laptop without affecting the other two operation system and without affecting the existing data for FC itself as well ? as you know that I have to do this upgrade between time to time, due to upgrade that occurs to FC

I do not look to update (yum), I prefer to upgrade.

I am using Solaris's GRUB as boot manager (boot loader ) for three OSs
