Default Wii can help you lose weight?

I was reading an article at the Inq that said a guy has lost like 9 lbs. in six weeks from gaming on the Wii.

http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37096 (apparently the source is http://www.wiinintendo.net/).

Do you feel like you're getting exercise when playing the various sports games? That's an interesting twist if so.

if you stand up and get into it, heck ya I feel like I am getting exercise, especially when I am playing Wii boxing.

If you just sit there and "flick" your wrist like the naysayers say is all that is needed, and don't let yourself get into the game, then no, you don't get any more exercise than the normal gaming gets.

Cool, that seems like a pretty good way to get exercise (i.e. make it more fun anyway).
