usually if you go logoff user --> suspend (hold mouse button down) --> to ram. I dunno the CLI command but if someone has that it would be nice to know as atm i'm suspending my system from x and it's crashing. That's part of the reason i'm resigned to failiure.

check your BIOS setings: you may have S4 set by default. If you need suspend-to-ram, you should set this to S3

from your howto:
"# blacklist agp module blacklist intel_agp" The above is correct only for the modules, not in the case when AGP(GART) is built by default in the kernel. AGPGART will prevent NvAGP from loading even if you set NvAGP "1" In other words, this will work only with some, not all mobos. This is why blacklisting does not work in general Also read this: http://wiki.suspend2.net/DistroAndHardwareSetup/Nvidia and this about agpgart module: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...hlight=agpgart |

did abit more research into this and it seems it's a bug in the driver that has come back to haunt us. otherwise this is great. i get a great framerate from cs:s in cedega and cs for that matter. kde effects run fast and smooth (apart from a couple of bugs with kde it'self)
ahh well nvm. not like i used it much anyway ,even in widnows, i tend to have it doing something all the time, from d/ling to encoding dvd video, to backups (they take ages on this thing coz it has two comps to do at once) |
