Nvidia 7950GX2 with Fedora 6
I've got a couple questions about running an 7950GX2 under Fedora 6 for AMD64.
My system is:
Nvidia Nforce 590 SLI AM2
I had some issues getting the Nvidia 64 bit drivers to install, well I couldn't get them to install at all on the standard kernel or the xen.
I installed an i686 kernel and the Nvidia 64bit drivers installed just fine with that.
Now I've gone back to the xen kernel and its loading up the Nvidia drivers with that.
I'm just wondering would they be working ok to install them this way or is there a special way to install them under an 64bit kernel.
It seems to be working fine from what I can see but I'm not sure if they actually work installing them on a different kernel like this, I searched for information for a long time and tried multiple suggestions to get them working on my standard 64bit kernel with no luck.
I'm abit new to Linux so I really have no idea how these drivers should be installed.
Thanks in advance.
