Default Need help choosing a motherboard.

So I'm upgrading my computer and I've decided on the following:
  • BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz
  • Corsair XMS 2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 Matched Pairs 2GB kit

I'm just having trouble deciding which motherboard to pair these parts with. I see the commando and the other deluxe mobo's out from Asus at the moment and I just don't know if I need all that. Any suggestions for something affordable?

I can tell you this if you are set on getting the Dominator PC6400C4 DO NOT get an asus nforce 680i board!!! They are incompatible. The intel chipset boards are fine however. The ABIT IN9 32X MAX is fine thats what i had to repalce from my ASUS P5N32-E which hated my own 6400C4 Dominator memory, not sure about eVGA however.

I can tell you that if you're getting a motherboard, then do not get a 680i period. Heh. I wouldn't even tell you to get one of those if you were going SLI.. which you didn't mention you were, anyway.

Get the P5B Deluxe from Asus. Excellent board for stability and overclocking, and it's been out for a long while so it's basically bulletproof by now.
