Feel free. If you're having a problem go ahead. You';re a fellow Intel/nVidia/Windows lover and we're all family here. I'm just going to try some tighter RAM specs. Right now my CPU is holding my PC back with a 5.1 Vista score. My HDD hits 5.3 on the scale, so i probably need a 10K RPM SATA to hit 5.9. My CPU is killing me the most.

Does anyone have any recommended timings for my RAM?

Dude, google is your friend.

Just enter the RAM model # in the search bar and it'll pull it up, or do a search on www.newegg.com for the exact type of RAM you have and click on the "specifications" tab and it'll give you the stock timings.

Nobody can give you an accurate estimate on that, either, because you're mixing sticks. It's never good to mix sticks of RAM like that, so you're just going to have to test them out yourself to figure out what kind of timings you can run them at.

Well it seems on anything other than auto I get BSOD. So there it stays, I guess. Atleast I was able to get closrer to the right speed and get 2x performance out of my ram.
