Default using twinview but is it possible openGL apps not split down the middle?

Hi,
thanks to help from here I am using Twinview very happily - but with one small nit -

when I start an openGL fullscreen app like bzflag, Google Earth or stellarium, it is centered on my screen. Which means it is split right down the middle between the two screens - hard on the eyes!

is there any way to specify the app should run on only one screen?

I am guessing, NO but I thought I would ask...

Of couse I have an alternate xorg.conf which does not do twinview and uses only the DFP screen, so I can switch the conf files and restart X. But it would be nice to not have to do all that.

thanks
s.am

if you can run your games in fullscreen, then yes. Check out the "MetaModes" option.

see,
Appendix G.
for further details.
