This really pisses me off that they're moving to DDR3 ALREADY. DDR was around for so long, and DDR2 is done already? I invested heavily in good DDR2 thinking it was going to last me for a long time, and now DDR3. Boo.

 Get a c2d 6300 now and overclock the crap out of it, with a nice p965 chipset mobo. That way you can keep the motherboard when you switch processors after the price cuts.
