Default Mobile processors: T7200 vs T5600?

Hello again all you computer freaks.

Today's question:
How does the C2D t5600 compare against the T7200.

The 5600 runs at 1.83GHz and has 2MB of L2 chache, if I'm not mistaken. The 7200: 2Ghz and 4MB L2.

Will the difference be substantial? I'm buying a Dell XPS M1210 through their Outlet and they are currently not offering any T7200's, but they have several T5600. SHould I wait a couple of days and see what comes up, or take a dive and go for the lesser chip?

The laptop is mostly for school use but I will do some gaming. It will have 1GB and a 7400 Go (2 GB is too expensive right now).

Advice is appreciated.

More cache always helps...and the T7200 also runs at a higher clock frequency. If you can swing it, get it.

That's what I was thinking.

I guess I'll wait around a day or two to see if another one with a t7200 pops up.

Any more input is widely appreciated... especially if you by any chance know of 12" notebooks with GPU capability for around $1,250.
