Default how about a rss-feed?

Why don't nvidia set up a simple rss-feed for both releases and beta-versions? I think it would benefit all. It would help nvidia to make sure bleeding-edge users would run the latest beta and thus help report bugs and issues. It would also help users to know when a new release is out. It's a win-win, no?

Anyway, just a suggestion.

I'd like this as well.

Just adding my "+1".

I've been a member of nVIDIA's mailing list that should inform people about new releases, but it was Windows-only and *full* of commercial crap like "HOT OFFER!".

To heat the competition motivation, here is the link to ATI special Linux only rss feed: http://www.ati.com/online/rss/atilin...C-rssfeedlinux
I hope this incentive will encourage Nvidia to make Linux driver rss for us ;-)

I setup a simple cron script which periodically fetches the listed sites and diff them with their old version. It worked alright up till now. I wonder if there's any Firefox extension to do it ?. Many sites just don't bother to make RSS feeds.

While I'm waiting for such extension, yeah, RSS feed is a good idea.

If you are a regular in this forum - and every 'tester' or 'power user' visits this forum almost daily anyway, an rss feed is just superflous.

I know, rss is the buzz of the moment. But that does not make it usefull everywhere.

So -1 from me. Rss feeds for driver releases are useless.

Also, there once was the option to register your email for driver update notification. Why not try that first?

I visit this forum daily, but rss is more comfortable.
