Hi,
My GeForce 6200 often come up with screen corruption. I've google a lot and doesn't found any sound solution.. I've attached a screen shot and my system config as well, any hints for me to get rid of this annoyance? I'm not using compiz / xgl stuff. Distro, Gentoo 2.6.18-gentoo-r6 xorg-x11-7.1 nvidia-drivers-1.0.8776 [ lspci -v ] 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV44A [GeForce 6200] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA]) Flags: bus master, VGA palette snoop, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 248, IRQ 11 Memory at e8000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M] Memory at d0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M] Memory at e9000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M] [virtual] Expansion ROM at ea000000 [disabled] [size=128K] Capabilities: <access denied> The following is two screenshot The first one, please note those 'radiation' stuff around the term. ![]() (Usually the corruption will gone when I switch between different virtual desktop, but it will soon come up again sometimes later) Thanks very much! The second one, there is some yellowish vertical line Same as the first one, switch desktop or scrolling page or do anything to trigger some refresh, the corruption will gone. ![]() |
