Default [VISTA] Mail Spell Check - Reselect English (wtf?)

So for the first time since using Vista I went to actually spell check an email and got that "language no longer avilable message".

It didn't take long to find the fix of re-selecting English under the spelling tab of OPTIONS, even though it was already selected.

WTF? That would have confused the heck out of most users who would probably never get it fixed. I can't believe MS has released a Windows Update fix for that just to make sure it's on if English is already selected.

That was just weird...

edit: as you can see... spell checkers are very important to me.
