I just picked up FC7 rel 3 and I'm having a really hard time getting the latest nvidia drivers to work. The installer appears to run just fine, and I can manually load the nvidia driver with modprobe, but when I start X I get the following message:
(EE) Failed to load module "glx" (module does not exist, 0) (EE) Failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist, 0) (EE) No drivers available Did the module paths change in very new releases of xorg? I've looked around and found a couple of people saying I need to install the drivers into /usr/lib64/xorg, but I haven't had any success with that. PS, I'm on an AMD64 kernel. THANKS! |

Thanks!
I had read the first post on that page, but I didn't see there was a second one. That did the trick! |

There may not have been one when you read it, I only posted it yesterday.
