Default DDR2 RAM showing up as 400MHz?

So I've had this Dual Channel DDR2 RAM in my system since I got my rig...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145589

...but when I ran CPU-Z I noticed that it said the frequency in MHz was not 800 but instead 400. Can someone explain this to me? Could it be that each channel is 400MHz?

It is running at 400MHz.

It's double-data rate...so it's 800MHz effectively.
