i didn't buy it from them, i got it from newegg, 155 AR, just the high price on crucial site makes it look far more impressive

Different mobos like some memory better than others. My friend I mentioned before who has the same board as me had Crucial and had severe compatibility problems. Had to run 1.7v on the northbridge just to be stable. He's running G.Skill now and is having much better success. So am I.

A question about water cooling, is water cooling quieter than the regular fans? I don't personally plan on OCing when I build my next system so water cooling really isn't that necessary but if it will make the system pretty much silent I'd probably do it.

Definitely quieter, although you still need fans on the radiator.
