well, thanks, but that's the first I hear about you guys...
I myself have that exact card, that's why I find It so hard to imagen that It wouldn't work..
but I meant that I never heard of a mdk9.1 that because of kernel couldn't install the nvidia, but can install the nv driver. the error lies somewhere else.

well since some had success could anyone give me any leads on how i can downgrade my kernel to 2.4.18....
i have the following files:
so if someone could tell me which i need from that list or which ones i dont' need, or even which ones i don't have but need, and how to go about doing this, it would be much appreciated...thx
