Default Interlaced issues - Nvidia driver

Will nvidia ever release a true interlaced video driver? When I say this I have an 1080i TV when connected to my myth box it does not display the interlaced output correctly, easy to notice during pans/motion I get the dreaded combing/interlaced output. I'm have to de-interlace before sending to my TV, although my TV n it is a interlaced device. I have seen other postings that talk about the same issues, I reliaze that I am probably in the minority due to most newer displays being progressive but waqs hoping someone might know or have some suggestions. Thanks.
