Default ASUS m2npv-vm TV-Out blurred picture

hi,

I'm running
Debian-lenny/testing AMD64 (downloaded / installed last week of April 2007)
the latest nvidia package for this distro
the latest stable kernel (2.6.21.1)
mobo: m2npv-vm; BIOS revision 0801 (the latest?)

both X and KDE run well; no troubles at nvidia driver compilation/installation; the driver starts and (seems to) perform well. I deduce: the SW is ok.

this mobo supports either a) VGA or b) TV-Out; not both.

a) what I see on my VGA (CRT monitor) is a very sharp, good picture (desktop, movies, gif..).
BUT
b) what I see on my TV-Out (PAL TV) is in case of
SVIDEO: a black screen
COMPOSITE: a blurred, distorted, skewed and bad colored rather green picture
COMPONENT: cannot use it

the TV_Out_to_SCART_cables (COMPOSITE to SCART, SVIDEO to SCART) work well; I can check them using a Windows-XP notebook; they show a TV image in good (PAL) quality

1. concept)
My urgent request: please check my log file; maybe you see what I don't see and say me what is wrong in my configuration

2. concept)
There is an ASUS-TV-Out-module connected to the mobo; so the structure of my HW-components is:
mobo >> TV-Out-module >> TV_Out_to_SCART_cable >> TV

diagnostic findings:

mobo: ok
TV-Out-module: ??
TV_Out_to_SCART_cable: ok
TV: ok

maybe this TV-Out-module is doing wrong? but I cannot prove / verify. Did you ever seen any info about this?

I thank you for any answer...

Default Re: ASUS m2npv-vm TV-Out blurred picture

Hi tonwi, can you post your 2.6.21.1 kernel config file for me please.
I have an M2NPV-VM board as well and can't get new kernels to boot on that board.
Thanks,
Chris.
