well after trying the 64 bit version to being with I went to 32 because nForce3 isn't very stable in Vista and wanted to see if it made any difference. I still got a few crashes in 32 bit so went back to 64 and the 64 bit version is definitely a lot snappier. Even games seem to load faster which totally surprised me.

Well I suppose my next logical question would be... can I upgrade my 32bit install or do I have to start over and install all my sh!t again?

Looking at a format i'm afraid.

I would leave it until you next plan to format and start afresh.
