Dethklok Returns!
|
Well, since I dont have access to my server while im in ohio, and will be here for a while; I decided to install a WAMP stack here so i can have a dev environment here. I found it a bit a pain using the services snap-in to start and stop the servers when modding them, so I made a small group of batch files to make it a bit easier. Plus i dont want them running when im not coding and such, since they take up resources.
So I made a 9 batch files: - Start all servers - Stop all servers - Start Apache - Stop Apache - Start MySQL - Stop MySQL - Start FileZilla - Stop FileZilla - Query Servers Status I thought it might be useful for devs who were looking for the same thing. EDIT: I added a query for checking server status. |

Nice, thanks man.
![]() But why not use XAMPP and then start/stop services via the XAMPP control panel? |

I prefer to setup each server individually. I guess I'm just old fashioned like that lol.
