Default 64bit version of 1.0.9755 crashes with vertex buffer objects

Hi.

I'm part of the development team of the free first person shooter Nexuiz. One of our gamers experianced a repeatable crash when he uses our game with vertex buffer objects on his 8800gts (non-sli) running ubuntu. I use the same driver though the 32bit version, on a 6600gt and debian and VBOs behave fine there so i guess its a problem of the 64bit drivers. Can someone confirm this or even better fix this in some way?

Regards,
Stephan

You'll need to provide significantly more information if you'd like assistance:
0) An nvidia-bug-report.log generated during or after reproducing the problem
1) Whether the problem reproduces with 100.14.06
2) Explicit details on where in the game (or a saved game file) this problem occurs
