Default Screen is blank after resolution change (100.14.03 and Fiesty)

Hi Guys,

Strange one that seems to have appeared on Fiesty with Kernel 2.6.20.9

NVIDIA driver is installed not a problem, however when changing resolution via the nvidia-settings application I am left with a blank screen, and when it auto-reverts back to previous the screen is left blank.

I can infact confirm it is changing resolutions, as my monitor informs me, and it is not going out of range for my monitor either...

Any ideas?

Please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log file (see http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46678). Does the problem persist with 100.14.09 (which includes a workaround for a bug in Linux >= 2.6.20)? Was it introduced with Feisty or a kernel upgrade? In the latter case, does it work with an older kernel?

It certainly does no longer exist in 100.14.09. Once again you have proven to be a god amonst mere mortals.

The only other thing I changed was unplugged a second CRT. My setup was DVI Primary, CRT Secondary. I will reconnect it and see if it re-appears.

If you do not hear back, you know it's all good
