Hi,
Have just run the Software updater, downloaded a new kernel plus some other things. When I went to re-boot. No nvidia driver. When it booted it said: Checking for nvidia kernel module nvidia.ko module for 2.6.20-1.2319.fc5 kernel not found Disabling nvidia-glx driver Then I found out that the livna site is down.. What should I do? It worked ok with an old kernel. thanks ewok |

If you update your kernel, you will need to update your nvidia driver. Re-run the nvidia installer.

e.g
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.09-pkg2.run -k The switch is -k after kernel update. |

So just add Livna to your list of repos and when you see new kernel update just wait for few hours (maybe one,two days) for NVidia drivers for this kernel. Remember that kernel module version must match your kernel version. For example if your kernel number is 2.6.21_1.3228 then you must install this kmod-nvidia-2.6.21_1.3228. |
