Default 7990 gs / to problems

helo.

can anyone help ?

me use linux with 1.0-9631 or the newstes version 100.xxxx

my displays works fine in dvi mode ( first display 30 Zoll Dell dual dvilink, 2560x1600 and second display dell 20 zoll 1680x1050)

But i need to use 20 zoll display in vga mode, but the grafikdrivers switches to 330 MHZ and no sync with dell display)

With options in driver must be used ?

next problem, if me use 100.xxx.xxx drivers x displays are ok , but if me switch back to tty , each second line is blank !

me hope for right information

Please start X with the following command:
startx -- -logverbose 6

and then generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log while the problem is present.

You did not attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

You did not generate the bug report with the instructions I provided. However, I do see:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): Invalid HorizSync string: 4 display device sections specified,
(WW) NVIDIA(0): but only 3 display devices can be connected to a GPU at a
(WW) NVIDIA(0): time; discarding HorizSync string.

Also, 1.0-9631 is no longer supported. You should be using 100.14.09.

According to this bug report, you've still not corrected this problem:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): Invalid HorizSync string: 4 display device sections specified,
(WW) NVIDIA(0): but only 3 display devices can be connected to a GPU at a
(WW) NVIDIA(0): time; discarding HorizSync string.

Its not clear why you're using this option:
(**) NVIDIA(0): ConnectedMonitor string: "DFP,DFP"
What is the result if you remove it?

However, the biggest problem is here:
(WW) NVIDIA(GPU-0): Unable to read EDID for display device DFP-1

How is the 2nd DFP attached to the graphics card?

ok , i have resolved the problem with vga , dvi port !

now i can use the config for my workstation and notebook , up to four display,

mixed form 20 - 30 zoll , at vga or dvi connection.

the only problem in now is with 100.x.x driver .
if me switch to console screen , one blank line is inserted each line.
the problem is not in the old version of driver.
