that LG Cost close to a grand

note: there is one store that has it for 650, but when one store has the price at 650, and every other store has it at 950-1300. I would research that low price and the store before making a purchase. something looks fishy.

No, I don't have a big enough HD to take advantage of a BR drive.

The BDC-202BK is expensive for what it is really (just a bluray reader). But at $299 (150) its going to be the cheapest way to watch bluray and its about what I paid for the xbox hd-dvd add on anyway.

I already have a PS3, so my next Hi-Def purchase will be a Blu-Ray Burner or a Blu-Ray/HD DVD Burner when they get down to the Sub $300 level and the discs are <$7.50 A piece...

I don't think it would be a good idea to buy one of those for quite some time. Burnable blu-ray discs and HD-DVD discs are insanely expensive, and will remain so for a long time (currently they are upwards of $20 per disc.)
Actually... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scription=BD-r $10 for a verbatim from newegg.com, but I know I've seen em as low as $7 a disc. It is in one of the other threads for the BD drives.
