Intel Badaxe2. Been running it for about 7 months stable at 3.3 ghz stable. Invest in GOOD ram and it will be worth it. Go here to check out how it stands up against 965 chipsets. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=124131 It's a long thread but it has ALOT of useful information.

Those Asus boards don't support the new 1333 FSB. Are they coming out with a new version of it soon?

I have the ASUS 650 SLI and it would run my E6600 at 3.6g or I could run it at 2000 on the CPU FSB and the memory at 1000mhz with a multipler of 7 and it ran at 3.5gigs perfect.

I've got a Asus P5B-Deluxe and love it to bits. It's rock solid. No SLI, but who needs that these days. With the video cards that are coming out, one is by far enough.

See sig for mobo and OC results. I haven't been able to crash the system yet. I've tried.

I'm sure it may be outdated compared to the newer boards but when I built mine, it was dirt cheap and had tremendous bang for the buck and rock solid OC potential.
