Hi.
I'm installing Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 in a Asus G1 notebook and I can't switch between the LCD and an external monitor connected to the DVI port. Both have the same native resolution so I tought that would be easy but right now I'm using twinview to have the external display working. I could check that the ACPI event is fine, if I run windows I can make it work so I think this can be related to the driver. The board is a Go 7700 and the driver is 9755. I tried to use the latest release at nvidia site, same result. This is the only thing I need to fix to replace my desktop with this notebook. Any tips? Thanks in advance |

Is it possible that no one else have the same problem? I'm starting to worry about this.

This isn't supported in 1.0-9755. You'll need to upgrade to 100.14.11.

Thanks, this actually works, but not directly on the keyboard but if I change the value in /sys/devices/platform/asus-laptop/display it does.
I'll have to figure out why the event is getting captured. |
