Wonder if this would fix my issues with Nero Scout... It suddenly stopped wanting to run, reinstalling does nothing.

haha, you can't get it to work, and i have to kill it everytime i install nero.

I just wish I didn't NEED it to stream media to my PS3. I know you can set the directories for sharing but the PS3 doesn't see them, it only sees the files if its set to scout. Nero's support has been useless.

Magus try this http://www.tversity.com/home I use it for my 360 to stream media to it and it works with the ps3 as well

It works but as soon as I stop a video and try to play another it wont connect to the server anymore. Im starting to think that most of my connection troubles are related to my router.

maybe not, for the short time i had 360, i had a lot of trouble trying to get that TVersity to work

I had something similar with the earlier version of it and it turned out to be the codec I was using. I had to use ffdshow there was no way around it, what happened to me is if i paused the video or it stoped in any way I could no longer play a video until I restarted the console. At work when were not busy I use orb to watch a movie or listen to music and because they don't have a codec for dvix or xvid installed I used an older codec because it was the only one that would decode the video on my pc at home and not at the local machine and TVersity hated that codec. I was than forced to either use TVersity or orb not both so I finally broke down and used my server to stream TVersity and use my desktop to stream orb. Hope this helps!

The new version of Nero Showtime fixes the aacs error when playing HD-DVD from the xbox 360 drive... which is great and means I can play all 3 Matrix HD-DVDs in it now! But, to get the latest version to work, I had to use the Nero Clean tool to remove the previous nero version and then use the full install for the new version otherwise my PC would just freeze!
