At least my PS3 isn't likely to breakdown like the Xbox 360.

And it allows me to do plenty of good things. Like playing Blu-Ray movies, Resistance, Sstardust HD, Motorstorm, VF 5, Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Not to mention the 1st party exclusives that are coming out this year.

And it doesn't scratch my disks like my Xbox 360 does even while being horizontal.

If my Xbox 360 scratches my COD3 disk again, I get to pay 20 USD for a replacement.

I'm just waiting until they start rolling out the revised Xbox 360's before sending my console in for repair.

This recall is due to a manufacturing defect so is wholly different from design defects. Which is another factor to possibly shorten the X360 lifetime (in Australia that is).

I disagree. I own pretty much all consoles, I don't prefer one over the other. They all just do a job for me - play games. I love games.

If there's a game I like and I don't have the console for it, then I'll buy that console. I know it's a waste of money, but that's just how sad I am.

I own a 360 and a wii, the wii has sat on the shelf unused for a while now. I really only play it when I invite people over, and that is getting eclipsed by worms and the impending bomberman.
