Default Xid errors

I have long history of flawless (no crashes or freezes) running on current hw configuration, however today (some minutes ago) whole setup freezed twice, while browsing in opera on a webpage with some movies embedded. Screen became garbled and mouse unresponsive for a while. I wouldn't panic, if I didn't see this lines in dmesg:
Code:
Jul 21 23:05:58 linux kernel: NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 8, Channel 00000000
Jul 21 23:06:11 linux kernel: NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 9, Channel 00000020 Instance 00000000 Intr 00000080
Never happened this before with current xorg configuration, what does this Xid means? Is my hardware failing (graphic card is just 1 year old)?

EDIT: I'm unable to reproduce this problem.

Default Re: Xid errors

Happened again (when browsing):
Jul 22 02:55:41 linux kernel: NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 8, Channel 00000000
Jul 22 02:55:53 linux kernel: NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 9, Channel 00000020 Instance 00000000 Intr 00000080

I can noticed little glitch at the bottom of screen when this happens, after 5-10 seconds, screen blinks (black) and everything is back normal.

Default Re: Xid errors

5 days ago I booted into windows to play resident evil 3. Soon as I booted into windows (desktop was loaded) screen freezed. After that it blinked and I was presented with an error (nvidia error box appeared) and it was written that a problem has occured and gpu was downclocked to safe frequencies (something like that). Was that logged? If it was I can provide you more information (tell me also where to get that log).

Now I'm monitoring gpu temperature - seems fine so far: 48c. I was playing quake 4 before and it was working fine.
