Hi ppl,
I'm having problems installing my graphics card in Debian/Etch. I folowed these steps here ( http://www.debiantutorials.org/content/view/152/212/ ) many times now and I still can't get it to work... I cant even find a linux driver on nvidia.com that supports Nvidia Geforce2 Ti. Anyone have any ideas on how i can make this work? Please help... Thanks |

You'll need to use 1.0-7185. See the driver README and forum sticky posts for more information.

No, your GPU doesn't support compositing functionality.

Sure, use a GPU which is capable of doing compositing. Yours is not. Any GPU supported in the 1.0-96xx or 100.xx driver branches can do compositing.

I see that your card is limited and that another poster has steered you in the right direction, I just want to be sure that my tutorials are clear. I'm no writer. --machiner |
