Thanks Aaron! You should have seen my jaw drop after adding Option "ModeValidation" "NoVertRefreshCheck" to the Screen section of my xconf file!
I saw the bright Nvidia logo welcome me! Thanks, you really made my day! So basically the issue was... a faulty vert refresh rate was being generated? One that was waaaaay to high? The only thing I have to do now is work out my resolution, it's a bit funny. I usually like keeping it at 2048x1536, but for some reason KDE isn't rendering at that resolution. hmmm. I'll work on it, but I want to thank you again AaronP, I really appreciate your help! --Jon |

The problem was that the EDID generated by the driver had a vertical rate limit that was too restrictive for the detailed timings. This should be fixed in a future NVIDIA Linux graphics driver release.
