FX 5700 troubles with separate screen TV out
Ok, here we go: i'm running Gentoo Linux with my GeForce FX5700 (driver 100.14.09, kernel 2.6.20) and i'm trying to get working two displays (CRT and TV) at the same time.
I tried to get them working with twinview, i tryed to make separate screens and i only got working one display.
Ok, i thought that my SVIDEO tvout doesn't work at all, i made xorg.conf with only one screen, which was configured to TV-out. And i got picture on TV display. But when i try to configure both displays working, i get working only CRT display. Xorg.0.log says, that:
(EE) NVIDIA(1): The requested configuration of display devices (TV-0) in (EE) NVIDIA(1): MetaMode "640x480" is not supported on this GPU; is (EE) NVIDIA(1): recommended, instead. (WW) NVIDIA(1): (WW) NVIDIA(1): Unable to validate any modes; falling back to the default mode (WW) NVIDIA(1): "nvidia-auto-select". My last attempts you can see at nvidia-bug-report.log
I don't know what to do...
P.S. nvidia-settings util didn't help at all.
