I had a week free from Fileplanet, was interesting but it was nothing more then a gimped Guild Wars. It's not even really free since you have to pay to get the good gear.

Well I might give it a shot. $5 a month isn't bad. Plus, my wife likes things simple so hack-n-slash is for her.

Seems pretty fun, but won't minimize as fast other titles on my work PC.

I just bought my membership last night! This game is so much fun!

I can't see myself still playing 3-4 months from now, but hey for a full membership thats only $15 to $20 bucks. The game is WELL worth that. Even if you just play with the free version, it is still VERY fun!

If anyone wants to play on this with me, my xfire name is sarlaiel. Add me.

You actually play PC games at work? (besides like web browser based games)

Yea, I have played WoW there quite a lot. I just don't group or anything.

Big update incoming!
Might have to give it another go. I hated how laggy the controls felt.

IMO DR>GW.

Reasons:
  1. can solo most of it with no need for groups or lame henchmen
  2. great sense of humor
  3. an art style more preffered to me instead of the anime-ish GW crap
  4. player community is more involved in game development
  5. not limited to only your classes skills (you can basically change your class completely and wear any armor or weapon)
