Default Installing 8800 Drivers in OpenSuse 10.2 64bit, is there a guide?

I need to install the drivers for an 8800GTX one an OpenSuse 10.2 64bit machine.
I'm fairly newb with Linux in general.

I'm really looking for a guide or FAQ or walk through of how to actually install this?

I actually don't have the native Linux system YET. I ran OpenSuse 10.2 64bit through Vmware as a virtual machine to get more familiar with Suse and to try installing the 8800 drivers. I used the driver on this page...

Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver

Version: 100.14.11
Operating System: Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T)
Release Date: June 21, 2007

Release Highlights

* Added support for new GPUs:
o GeForce 7050 PV / NVIDIA nForce 630a
o GeForce 7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a
* Fixed console restore problems in several different configurations:
o Quadro FX 4400 SLI
o VESA console
o Notebook LCD displays
* Improved interaction with ATi RS480/482 based mainboards.
* Improved support for House Sync with G-Sync II.
* Improved NVIDIA X driver interaction with ACPI daemon.

To download and install the drivers, follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Review the NVIDIA Software License.

You will need to accept this license prior to downloading any files.

STEP 2: Download the Driver File
Download - NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.11-pkg2.run

SuSE users: please read the SuSE NVIDIA Installer HOWTO before downloading the driver.

STEP 3: Install
Type "sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.11-pkg2.run" to install the driver. NVIDIA now provides a utility to assist you with configuration of your X config file. Please see Chapter 3 of the README or run 'man nvidia-xconfig' for details on usage. Instructions for those wishing to edit their X config file by hand can also be found in the README.

If you have any questions or problems, please check the linux discussion forum. If you don't find an answer to your question there, you can send email (in English) to linux-bugs@nvidia.com.

When emailing linux-bugs@nvidia.com, please attach an nvidia-bug-report.log, which is generated by running "nvidia-bug-report.sh".
I actually followed the instructions on the "Suse users" section. IT seemed to work but under display settings where it lists graphics card i didn't see 8800GTX.
Then i tried it the other way listed on the page using "sh blahblah" in the command line and it said the graphics card is not supported by these drivers. So i figure either i messed up something, OR it simply doesn't want to work because it isn't native linux, yet.

What instructions should i follow? The "Suse users" sections that have you go through Yast, or the instructions on the driver page that tell you to do "sh blahblah" in the command line?

Is there a walk through / guide for doing this?

The problem is that u is running Linux in a virtual machine...
problem will not exist if u decide to do a normal install.

follow the sh blabla install when u do so

Thats something I think VMWare is looking to fix at some point. Having the ability to make complete use of the hardware inside the Virtual PC.
