Help Required Pleeeease

Hi All

I have the current config

AMD 1600
Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti 4200
RedHat Advanced Server 2.1

As it stands I do not have a graphic display in any form. I have downloaded the installer from nvidia and run it. It apears to have downloaded and built OK according to the install log.

When I try to start X it bombs with "Fatal Server Error : no screens found"

Being relatively new to all this I am stuck and have no idea how to configure XF86Config-4 with the correct information. I have attached the log files

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

your probleme should be come from this error in your log :

(--) PCI:*(1:0:0) NVidia unknown chipset (0x0251) rev 163, Mem @ 0xde000000/24, 0xd0000000/27, 0xdda80000/19, BIOS @ 0xdfde0000/17

DON'T load dri, glcore and nv, there is a readme on nvidia's
driver download page. get it. read it.

if it still doesn't work for you, then post your XF86Config(-4).
