Bah... do we really need ANOTHER format.... apart from disc space it seems inferior to HD-DVD/BD with no support for Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, please just let this die

All depends if they have good support for the media. If alot of studios end up supporting this format it could give both HDDVD and Bluray a fight due to its better price point which in the end is all the consumer cares about.

Crappy video support. Zero HD audio support. What a pile of junk. I feel sorry for the poor suckers who buy into this.
And about pricepoint. BluRay and HD-DVD are both dropping in price. This "HD VMD" is a complete waste. HD-DVD players are close to the same price as them anyway. |
