Default RTCW ET Error.

Im using Linux Mandrake 9.1 with the latest nvidia drivers *NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4363.run*
When i try and run RTCW ET i am getting this.

In your XF86Config file try removing....

Chipset "GeForce DDR"

and inserting...

Driver "nvidia"

into the "Device" Section

Actually, your XF86Config file doesn't need to be touched. That's not the config file that X uses, as long as an XF86Config-4 file exists (and it apparently does).

The XF86Config-4 file seems to be OK, too, at least syntax-wise.

Does the game run if you use 24-bit color rather than 16? Try changing the DefaultDepth line.

fixed the problem it was just the DefaultColorDepth 15 line in the -4 config it should have been DefaultColorDepth 24
