Module of *.19 failed to build with 2.6.22.5-cfs

Last version of the nvidia driver failed to build for me.

I'm using a vanilla 2.6.22.5 linux version patched with the cfs[1] scheduler
Attached is the installation attemp log

which is not cfs 'fault' because I installed the latest driver with 2.6.22.5-cfs

I failed to see any solution in the response you posted. Can you elaborate?
I have seen the error in the modpost fase but i do not why it happens or how to fix it

PS. I'm corrently using *.11 whithout problems and it allways built ok

I tried to say that this should not be the fault of the cfs patch, but either the installer or some other change. And that I was able to install the drivers (via gentoo ebuild), despite using 2.6.22.5+cfs patch.

At a first glance, this looks like a KBUILD problem of some sort. The -s option doesn't come from the NVIDIA KBUILD Makefile.

I had this problem and it turned out to be an old version of scripts/mod/modpost. The new one had not been built. I removed it and ran kernel make and it was rebuilt using the newer scripts/mod/modpost.c

Thank you; I did a make mrproper and compiled again the custom kernel
After that the driver instaled without problems.
