I can't seem to get my XF86Config to work whats wrong with it?

This seems to be the sample XF86Config file nvidia bundles with their drivers. It is not made for your setup, it contains examples on how to set up some complex things like multiple videocards and so on.
Let the xfree86 configure tool of your distro create a file and edit it yourself. (read the driver docs) In short the module section needs to contain: Load "glx" and remove lines like: Load "dri" Load "GLcore" The final step is to change the video driver from nv to nvidia. After this X should work fine. |

the first part is from my x86config the part module and down I copied from the sample!
