Question GeForce 4 MX and legacy drivers

I've got an nForce2 motherboard with integrated GeForce 4 MX, under FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE :
"pciconf -lv" returns
nvidia0@pci2:0:0: class=0x030000 card=0xf5401297 chip=0x01f010de rev=0xa3 hdr=0x00
vendor = 'NVIDIA Corporation'
device = 'GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU'
class = display
subclass = VGA
"dmesg" returns
nvidia0: <GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU> mem 0xe8000000-0xe8ffffff,0xd8000000-0xdfffffff,0xe0000000-0xe007ffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci2
nvidia0: [GIANT-LOCKED]

I have to use legacy drivers. My problem is that with 71.86.01 drivers, I can't use compiz cause there is no "GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap" GL extension in the driver.
96.43.01 drivers claim to support my card and have this extension, BUT whenever I start a 3D application other than glxgears, I have problems. For example with a fullscreen 3D app (like quake3 or a game under wine) I only see a black screen, but I hear the game's sound. With compiz, windows have an empty content. The card seems to have been correctly detected in dmesg and Xorg.0.log.

Does anyone has this card working with compiz, or advices ?
